The Hintertux Glacier is Austria's only year-round ski area and stands for 365 days of snow fun. Away from the slopes, a visit to the Nature Ice Palace or the Spannagel Cave, two unique natural jewels, is one of the absolute highlights in the Zillertal all year round.
In addition to the Hintertux Glacier, the same cable car family in the Zillertal also includes the Eggalm Bahnen, Rastkogel Bahnen and Finkenberger Almbahnen. In winter, the Hintertux Glacier unites with the Eggalm, Rastkogel, Finkenberg, Penken/Mayrhofen and Ahorn ski areas to form the snow-sure Ski & Gletscherwelt Zillertal 3000.
In summer, a wide range of summer activities awaits on the glacier and at the Eggalm Bahnen and Finkenberger Almbahnen, from adventure playgrounds to challenging hikes!

Variety at its finest is part of the daily program in Tuxertal. In 30 refuges, alpine farms and mountain restaurants as well as 50 restaurants and inns in the valley, gourmets and delicacies fans get their money's worth.
